Dear Parents/Carers,

Year 7 Consultation Evening - Booking system for appointment slots now open on MCAS (My Child at  school) account.

I would like to remind you that the Year 7 Consultation Evening is taking place on Thursday, 3rd March  2022. It is essential that all parents/carers attend this event as it provides an opportunity to meet with your  child’s subject teachers, to discuss their progress since the start of secondary school, and to enable you to  find out about how they can further improve between now and the end of the academic year. This is your  opportunity to find out about how your child is currently performing and importantly, how you can best  support them. Staff will be available between 3.30pm and 6.30pm. Please use the school's Elsa Road  entrance for the consultation evening.

Appointments should be made through Bromcom using the parent MCAS (My Child at School) account.  Once you have logged into your dashboard, the Parents Evening link can be found on the menu on the left  hand side of the screen. The link will take you to another screen where you can book 5 minute appointment  slots with each of your child's main class teachers. A record of your appointment will be stored on your  MCAS app. You will be able to book appointments from 1.00pm today, Monday 21st February until the day  of the Year 7 Consultation evening on Thursday 3rd March.

To allow you to support your child in their educational experience, progress reports will be published on  MCAS today, Monday 21st February. You should already have a login for MCAS and be able to access the  system as the invitation codes were sent to parents/carers in October 2021, however if you do not have a  login, please contact the School Office office@wellingschool-tkat.org.
