PSCHE

What is PSCHE?

Personal, Social, Citizenship, and Health Education (PSCHE) covers a broad range of topics, focused largely around the essential life skills and knowledge young people need to thrive in the wider world. For the most part, PSCHE is delivered by tutors in period 6/form time, with some more sensitive topics being delivered by specialists through workshops or drop-down days. Students also benefit from a range of talks and assemblies given by professionals such as the School Safety Officer. All of our content is designed to be age appropriate and meet the needs of a young person living in today’s world. The curriculum is designed in accordance with the national curriculum as well as the PSHE association and relevant national bodies.

The ultimate goal of PSCHE is to give students a broad and detailed understanding of the world we live in, keep them safe, and prepare them effectively for a successful adult life.
