As you begin to think about the exciting journey ahead into secondary school, we are delighted to invite you to experience everything Welling School has to offer! We have put together a fantastic lineup of events designed to give you a true taste of our vibrant school community, outstanding facilities, and academic opportunities.

We are thrilled to announce our special Welling School Trilogy of Events, alongside additional opportunities to visit us this September:

The Welling School Trilogy of Events

1. The Open Evening

  • Date & Time: Wednesday 9th September, 4:00pm – 7:00pm

  • What: Come and explore our school, meet our passionate teachers, and chat with our current students. This is your chance to see our classrooms in action, participate in fun departmental activities, and hear from our Headteacher.

2. Saturday Grammar & Express Taster Sessions

  • Date & Time: Saturday 26th September, 9:30am – 12:00pm

  • What: Ready for a challenge? Join us for an exciting Saturday morning dedicated to stretching your mind! These specialized taster sessions are designed for students interested in our grammar stream and high-achieving "express" pathways. You’ll experience fast-paced, engaging lessons that give you a head start on secondary-level learning.

3. An Evening Celebrating the Arts

  • Date & Time: Wednesday 30th September, 4:00pm – 6:00pm

  • What: At Welling School, we love creativity! This spectacular evening showcases the incredible talent of our Drama, Music, and Visual Arts departments. Come along to enjoy live performances, view stunning student galleries, and see how we nurture artistic expression.

Plus: Open Morning Tours!

In addition to our Trilogy of Events, we are also opening our doors during the school week. Our Open Morning Tours allow you to see Welling School on a normal working day. You will be guided through the school to see real lessons taking place and experience our calm, focused learning environment firsthand.

  • Dates: Weekdays from Monday 14th September to Friday 25th September

  • Time: 9:00am – 10:30am daily
