The Role

We are pleased to offer a suitable qualified professional the opportunity to join our dedicated administration team as Data Manager. With a keen eye for detail and proficiency in using Excel and CMIS (or other MIS system) you will understand how critical this role is to any school and its staff and students.

The accuracy of our data is central to ensuring our staff can accurately evaluate performance and use this to personalise the best approaches to maximising student attainment through expert and well targeted teaching and individual support. On a whole school level you will work closely with leaders to make sure they have the most up to date picture of attendance, performance and progress so that they in turn can ensure the highest levels of support and maintain high expectations and standards. Your brilliant organisational skills mean you are able to support staff in meeting deadlines, communicate deadlines and processes clearly and always be acutely aware of any potential errors or issues so that they can be rectified. Your administration skills mean you are comfortable at running reports and have good ideas about how they can be presented in a way that is fit for purpose. You will also work with a network of data managers from across the Trust as well as data leads in our central team, making sure we meet external deadlines and that colleagues are able to access the data they need, when they need it. Although there are robust systems in place there will be some room for you to make the role suit your best way of working - we are always open to hearing about ways to make our work even better and even more impactful.

Your previous experience as a member of school support staff is less important to us than your experience in data management, ability to communicate clearly and in a timely way and your clear vision on how this role is central to our core purpose.
