The school is well-prepared to ensure students, staff and visitors are COVID safe; including frequent hand sanitising points and twice weekly testing. 

Your child should attend school each day, and we are constantly following government guidance. If your child has any symptoms of Coronavirus, including:

• High temperature
• Loss of taste/smell
• Continuous, dry cough

Although it is no longer a legal requirement to self-isolate when testing positive for COVID-19, The Trust (TKAT) policy is all students and staff should not attend the academy. They should use a Lateral Flow test daily and if the test comes back negative, your child should return to school on Day 5 onwards, otherwise they should stay off until a negative LFT is detected.  Please inform the school each day your child is off school with COVID-19 symptoms.

What action you can take?

A UK wide campaign has been launched to provide clear advice on how to slow the spread of Coronavirus.

Please help to support the campaign which promotes basic hygiene practices, such as regularly washing hands and always sneezing into a tissue, to stem the spread of viruses.

The government is closely monitoring the spread of the Coronavirus and is taking action at home and abroad.
