The school is well prepared to ensure students, staff and visitors are COVID safe; including frequent hand sanitising points, reminders for social distance student year group bubbles, and twice weekly testing.
Your child should attend school each day, and we are constantly following government guidance. If your child has any symptoms of Coronavirus, including:
- High temperature
- Loss of taste/smell
- Continuous, dry cough
They should not attend school and should book a COVID test (https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test). If the test comes back negative, your child should return to school. If the test comes back positive your child should isolate for 10 days and the entire household should self-isolate for 14 days. Please inform the school each day your child is off school with COVID-19 symptoms.

What action you can take?
A UK wide campaign has been launched to provide clear advice on how to slow the spread of Coronavirus.
Please help to support the campaign which promotes basic hygiene practices, such as regularly washing hands and always sneezing into a tissue, to stem the spread of viruses.
The government is closely monitoring the spread of the Coronavirus and is taking action at home and abroad.
Public Health England and the Foreign Office have issued advice for anyone travelling abroad, including necessary 14 day isolation upon returning from some countries. This can be found at:
