Christmas Showcase - Postponed

Dear Parents / Carers It is with regret that I am writing to inform you that we will be postponing this year’s Christmas Showcase, scheduled to take place tomorrow, Thursday 15th December. This is due to the continuing icy weather conditions affecting the local area, because of which we feel unable to safely hold the event.

We are very disappointed not to be able to celebrate with you as planned the hard work and dedication put in by our performers in preparation for this event. Nevertheless a number of parents have raised concerns about holding a school event in such adverse weather conditions and we recognise that, with the potential risk involved in travelling to the school site at night-time, a postponement is the sensible way forward.

As such we hope that you will instead be able to join us on Thursday 19th January, when we will be performing our Post-Christmas Showcase, featuring the programme we intended to perform tomorrow. This will take place in the P2 Drama Studio, with entrance via the Berwick Gate and doors opening at 6:15pm and the event starting at 6:30pm. Once again, there will be no charge for tickets, however we will be taking donations on the night for First Give, a charity that works to inspire young people to make a positive change in society.

I thank you in advance for your understanding, and apologise for any inconvenience or upset the postponement may cause. Wishing you a happy and peaceful holiday season.
